The ID camps and clinics offered by the Penn Soccer Academy offer a mixture of both instructive coaching sessions and opportunities to play. It is our goal to make sure that players who attend the camps get a high level of instruction to help improve both technical and tactical ability while gaining insight into the collegiate game. A healthy mix of “practice” and “play” make the ID camps educational, challenging, and fun.
These popular one day ID Camp/Clinics feature the entire staff from the Penn Women's soccer team, current players as well as invited college coaches from other institutions. The camp will also feature a brief question and answer break-period where attendees get a chance to ask questions about the process of playing soccer in college. Generally a campus tour is also provided pre or post camp depending on the start time of camp and availability of coaches.
The camp is open to any/all female participants grades 9-12.
The team camp is open to any team (high school or club) and will be consist of four sessions over four days, at the University of Pennsylvania. During the camp, the teams will be coached by the actual staff of the 2018 Ivy League Champion Penn Women’s Soccer coaching staff. Topics will be pre arranged, however the staff is open to coaches requesting team-specific coaching topics. The camp will also feature daily lectures on topics such as goal setting, what it takes to play collegiate soccer, mental training, nutrition etc. A certified athletic trainer will be present at all times.
*Penn Soccer Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule any camp or clinic because of low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.
